 Candice Creelman grew up in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada and   remembers from the time she was very young, being quite different from  those  around her, especially her peers. Candice recalls, "contemplating the  nature of the  Universe" from a very young age. Her intuitive abilities and ability to  sense and see energy also began to show up around that time. 

Following her creative pursuits and love of film and theatre, she felt inspired to write her first screenplay at age 16 and a stage  play at  age 18. She also began poetry and songwriting.  She continued  that path and studied acting, playwriting, classical  voice training, and  eventually, theatre and most recently, film production. 

While studying theatre production in college in 1991, Candice faced her biggest challenge. Dealing with depression and anxiety since childhood, she hit her lowest point when she began to contemplate  suicide. In  that moment, she recalls having a sense that she wasn’t  alone. She heard a  voice in her head that she later described as her  Angels, telling her that she  couldn’t leave yet because she “had  something very important she had to stick  around for.”  

She had a vivid sense that  whatever her  “mission” was, that it was much bigger than her. This led Candice  onto  her own healing and spiritual journey and she began to learn about what  she  had been sensing for so long. She knew from that moment, that she wasn’t alone in  the universe and that  someone was guiding her to a higher purpose.

For many years after, she devoured books and researched  various spiritual paths and healing modalities such as Native Shamanism,  Ortho  Bionomy, Tibetan Buddhism, guided meditation and visualization,  Crystal  Healing, channeling, Polarity Therapy, Cranial Sacral Therapy,  Reflexology,  Touch for Health TM, flower  essences, Toning and sound  healing and many more.
 

After graduating from Theatre Production at Red Deer College  and later, Music, she made a bold move that  came straight  from her intuitive guidance – she decided to move across  the country to Toronto  to pursue music. Little did she know that Toronto had even more plans for her.

It was while living in Toronto when she was introduced to Reiki that she found what she was looking for. She was received her  level 1  Reiki in 1997, and level 2 and Master level in 1998. She later  followed another early calling and began working in the film industry, in various capacities both in front of and behind the camera. 

After moving back to Alberta, Candice had the opportunity to   go to Toronto when His Holiness, the Dalai Lama was visiting in 2004. She  participated in the eleven day Kalachakra initiation.  She has also  received the Medicine Buddha teachings and empowerment.  Candice recalls when walking into the hall, the feeling of love, joy and  compassion was so intense that she nearly dropped to  her knees. Her  account of that experience was nothing less than life changing  for her. 

Candice currently runs Thunderbird Sky Reiki & Energetic Arts as well as Thunderbird Sky Video Production. She is a published author with  an  article in Lee Carroll's book, Indigo Children. She also has a  self-published E-book  entitled, Energy and Healing 101: Transform Your  Life which can be purchases  online at www.thunderbirdsky.com/energy101.  She also writes, directs and produces spiritually based films where she taps into her spiritual knowledge and awareness channels that into her films.

Candice's philosophy is that we call come with gifts that   were meant to be used and that life was meant to be joyful. She states:  “We  just need to tap into those gifts and clear whatever it is that is  holding us  back.” Candice uses her intuitive and creative abilities to  assist others in their  process of discovering their life's path and  goals in a gentle and  compassionate way. 

Her honest and straightforward approach to healing, teaching   and her creative pursuits helps others cut to the heart of the matter  with  issues they require healing and clarification with. She has the  ability to put  into words, the thoughts and emotions that most have  difficulty expressing. By  verbalizing heartfelt truths, that often go  unspoken, she is often told that  she inspires others to go after their  own dreams without fear or doubt. Through  her intuitive guidance and  working with the Angels; clients receive validation  and clarification  of how they can move forward in their life and heal  themselves in a  meaningful and down to earth way.
